A man has denied stabbing and killing a 40-year-old man in Suffolk.

Paul Bone, of Trinity Avenue, Mildenhall, suffered a fatal stab wound at nearby Pembroke Close in the early hours of 20 December.

Andrew Turner, 49, of Pembroke Close, was arrested at the scene. He appeared at Ipswich Crown Court earlier where he pleaded not guilty to murdering Mr Bone.

Mr Turner was remanded in custody. His trial is expected to start on 16 June.

A 45-year-old woman from Mildenhall, who was arrested on suspicion of murder, remains on bail until Tuesday.
