A samurai sword and a scythe have been seized during drugs raids in Ipswich.

A two-day operation targeted heroin and crack cocaine dealing at various addresses in the town linked to London organised crime networks.

Chief Constable Douglas Paxton, who joined Tuesday's raids, said the weapons seized were "the sort of thing that comes with that marketplace".

Nineteen people aged between 17 and 49 were arrested as police targeted 15 addresses.

Police said "several thousand pounds worth of drugs" were found along with cash and mobile phones.
