Police alert over Laleham Park serial flasher

A flasher has carried out several indecent exposures in Surrey and made inappropriate remarks to the women he targeted.

Police said several victims had been approached by a lone male suspect in Laleham Park this month.

In one incident on 17 July, the man approached several women within minutes, exposing himself and making inappropriate comments.

High-visibility patrols have been stepped up in the area.

Det Con Stuart Smoult said: "This was a concerning incident where several female victims have been approached by a lone male suspect.

"The victims understandably felt intimidated and upset by the actions of this man and I would appeal for the public to help us track him down as quickly as possible."

Left on foot

He said the offences happened in broad daylight in a public park.

Officers particularly want to hear from anyone who saw where the suspect, who left on foot, went following the incidents.

Det Con Smoult said police officers carried out an extensive search of the area after one incident, but could not find the suspect.

He said the man made no attempt to touch any of the victims and no-one was harmed in any way.

The suspect was described as white, in his early 30s, with a stocky build and shoulder-length light-coloured hair, wearing blue football shorts and holding a piece of paper.
