A 38-year-old man is in a critical condition in hospital after being hit by a bus in Surrey.
The pedestrian suffered multiple injuries when he was hit by the single-decker in Charlwood Road, Horley, just before 2330 BST on Saturday.
Surrey Police said the local man was taken to East Surrey Hospital at Redhill, then moved to St George's Hospital, Tooting, south London.
His condition on Sunday was said to be life-threatening.
The road was closed for four hours while emergency services carried out investigations at the scene.
