Cleaner charged over Surrey school equipment thefts

A cleaner has been accused of stealing electrical equipment from a secondary school in Leatherhead in Surrey.

Surrey Police said Sandra Costa, 37, of Kingston Road, Epsom, had been charged with eight counts of theft.

Ms Costa is due to appear at South East Surrey Magistrates' Court on 7 September.

The charges relate to the theft of devices including a Blackberry, Apple iPods, an iPhone and a laptop from St John's School in Epsom Road.
