An 85-year-old man was airlifted to hospital with serious injuries after he was hit by a lorry in Surrey and became trapped underneath the vehicle.
The pedestrian was hit as he crossed The Borough in Farnham at about 1240 BST on Tuesday.
Surrey Police said the man, who lives locally, suffered serious head, arm, pelvis and leg injuries. His condition is described as serious but stable.
Roads in the town centre were closed for nearly four hours after the crash.
The victim is being treated at King's College Hospital in London.
Officers have asked anyone with information about the incident to contact them.
