Driver arrested after cyclist in Byfleet crash dies

A 31-year-old driver has been arrested following the death of a teenage cyclist after a collision with her car.
The 17-year-old cyclist, from Woking, died in St Peter's Hospital, Chertsey after the accident at 2138 BST in Byfleet, Surrey, on Wednesday.
The incident happened as he was riding along Parvis Road, near Queen's Avenue.
The woman driver of the Audi TT convertible was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving and driving while unfit through drink or drugs.
The teenager and the driver were both travelling from Byfleet towards Woking when the crash took place.
Police have appealed to anyone with information to come forward.
