Jogger in fatal accident in Lightwater is named

A man who died after he was struck by a car while out jogging in Surrey has been named by police.

Charles Chasemore, 38, was running across the Red Road in Lightwater when the accident happened on 9 October.

He was taken by ambulance to St George's Hospital in Tooting, south London, where he later died.

Surrey Police said the car involved was a white Seat Ibiza. They have appealed for witnesses to come forward.

An inquest into Mr Chasemore's death has been opened and adjourned.
