Detectives investigating a £35,000 raid on a Surrey warehouse in which a large quantity of perfume gifts were stolen have released a CCTV image.

Police said the image was of a group of men they wanted to speak to after the burglary in Hersham last month.

About five or six men forced entry to the site by removing a padlock and chain from an outer gate and then smashed a brick wall.

They took about 10 transport boxes that were loaded on to a waiting lorry.

Christmas incense sets

A spokesman for Surrey Police said it was a "clearly planned and well-organised raid".

The items stolen included fragrance diffusers, fragrance lamps, and a number of different perfumes under the Ashleigh & Burwood brand.

Police said the haul also included a number of National Trust Christmas incense sets.

Officers carried out house-to-house inquiries, and forensic tests were carried out at the scene after the burglary which happened between 2100 BST and 2200 BST on 19 September.
