Surrey Police close 'crack house' in Walton-on-Thames
- Published
Police in Surrey have closed down a suspected crack house which they say was being used to produce or supply Class A drugs.
The closure of 27 Vicarage Fields, in Walton-on-Thames, was granted by North Surrey Magistrates Court, and will remain in place for three months.
The closure order was granted under the Anti-Social Behaviour Act 2003.
Anyone entering the premises before the order expires on 14 March would risk a fine or prosecution, police said.
The closure follows a warrant carried out under the Misuse of Drugs Act at the property in October.
