The wintry weather has continued to affect road and rail networks in parts of Surrey.

South West Trains has been running a revised service because of the icy conditions, with passengers warned to expect some delays.

Southern Railway said a normal service would be running but warned there would be alterations to some routes.

A number of untreated roads were closed across the county because of ice and snow.

Police urged motorists to take extra care on the roads as temperatures remained low.

Both train companies have urged passengers to check timetables before they travel, but said normal services were resuming on Tuesday. Both operators have said they will run a normal timetable on Wednesday.
