Adult magazines stolen in knifepoint raid in Guildford

A masked man stole cash and adult magazines during an armed raid at a Surrey shop.

The man, who was brandishing a knife, demanded money at the store in Station Road, Gomshall, Guildford on Tuesday.

Surrey Police said he pushed the shop owner during a confrontation and then stole top shelf magazines and cash from the till before fleeing the scene.

The force has appealed for anyone with information about the incident to contact officers.

Det Con Matt Evans said: "At the moment we are trying to piece together what happened and we are keen to speak to anyone in the area at the time of the incident.

"We are speaking to a number of witnesses at the scene, but any further information which could help us take the investigation forward would be greatly appreciated."
