Police have named a motorist who was killed when his car left a road and hit a tree in Surrey.
Peter Jacklin was found dead at the scene of the crash, just off the slip road from the A3 in Burpham, on Tuesday shortly after 0200 BST.
The 36-year-old, from Guildford, was discovered in his vehicle, a Peugeot 308, by police and paramedics called to reports of a car in the woods.
An inquest into Mr Jacklin's death has been opened and adjourned.
Police are appealing for anyone who saw the crash, or the car being driven prior to the accident, to contact them.
