Fifteen arrested in Surrey Police drugs raids

Fifteen people have been arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to supply class A drugs after police raids in Surrey.

More than 100 police officers from the Surrey and Sussex police forces took part in dawn raids at 11 addresses in Ashford, Stanwell and Staines.

Addresses in Elmbridge borough and south-west London were also targeted.

Surrey Police said the raids followed intelligence suggesting drug dealers had moved into the county and were supplying heroin and crack cocaine.
