Hampshire man arrested over ear bite attack in Surrey
A man has been arrested in connection with an attack in Surrey in which part of a man's ear was bitten off.
Surrey Police said a 22-year-old man was approached by two men in Weyhill, Haslemere, at 0100 BST on Saturday.
Det Con Dan Chant said the men punched and kicked the victim, before one of them bit his ear.
Surrey Police said an 18-year-old, from Petersfield, East Hampshire, was arrested on Thursday and is being questioned in custody.
The victim was taken to hospital with an ear injury, a bruised eye, fractured nose and a cracked ribs.
