Elderly motorist killed in crash in Warlingham is named

An elderly woman who was killed when her car left the road and hit a tree in Surrey has been named by police.

Dorothy Young, 80, from Croydon, south London died at the scene of the accident on Succombs Hill, Warlingham.

Surrey Police said the Citroen C3 she was driving crashed into a tree shortly before 1330 BST. There were no passengers in the vehicle.

The force has appealed for witnesses to the crash or the circumstances leading to the incident on 27 May.
