A centre for children with special educational needs is to be built in Surrey, the local authority has said.

Surrey County Council has earmarked £2m to build the specialist centre in the Epsom and Ewell area.

Councillor Tim Hall, the cabinet member for change and efficiency, said the exact location had not been decided.

The authority also pledged to improve facilities at its nine other centres, which mainly support children with learning difficulties.
