Guildford 'crack house' closed by police and council

A "crack house" in Surrey has been boarded-up after neighbours suffered months of anti-social behaviour.

Police believe the house, in Southway Court, Guildford, was connected with the use, supply and production of Class A drugs.

The house will be sealed for three months and anyone entering could be fined or imprisoned.

Guildford Borough Council obtained a closure notice from South West Magistrates' Court.

Sgt Steve Hill, from Surrey Police, said: "Local residents have suffered serious nuisance, including noise and aggressive behaviour, associated with this property and I hope the community will benefit from the closure order served on the address."
