Driver killed in tree crash in Limpsfield

The driver of an estate car has died at the scene after the vehicle left the carriageway and hit a tree in Surrey.

The accident, which happened in Moorhouse Road, Limpsfield at 19:00 BST on Friday, involved a Ford Focus estate which was travelling south.

Surrey Police, who have not yet named the driver, appealed to any witnesses to come forward.

They want to hear from anyone who saw the accident or noticed the estate car before the crash.
