Man arrested over Horley armed robbery

A 22-year-old man has been arrested in connection with an armed robbery in a town in Surrey.

On Thursday at 14:00 BST a man with his face covered entered Premier Foodwise Store, in Lee Street, Horley, carrying what was thought to be a firearm.

After threatening staff he stole cash and cigarettes.

Police arrested a man in Horley at about 01:00 BST on Friday. He remains in custody while the police investigation continues.
