Golden Jubilee commemorative coins stolen in Surrey

Seven Golden Jubilee commemorative coins have been stolen from a property in Surrey.

A Marcosite black gemstone brooch in the shape of an anchor was also taken in the burglary in Leatherhead on Monday, police said.

The burglars are thought to have gained access through a window at the rear of the property in Tudor Walk sometime between 09:50 BST and 15:00 BST.

Surrey Police said the items were of "huge sentimental value" to the owner.
