A man has been charged with killing a railway passenger who fell between a train and platform after being punched.

Joshua Elphick, 20, of Abbots Wood, Guildford, has been charged with manslaughter and affray.

Ryan Harrison, 22, fell between the moving train and platform at Guildford station in Surrey on 30 March.

Three 20-year-old men have also been charged with affray and all four are due to appear at Guildford Magistrates' Court on 6 August.

They three men charged with affray are Jack Hardy, of Findlay Drive, Guildford; Adam Kulikowski, of Dukes Close, Cranleigh, and Harry Miller, of Coltsfoot Drive, Guildford.

Surrey Police said Mr Harrison was with a friend when the altercation took place at 23:40 GMT.
