Surrey Police: Body found in Dormansland chef search
A body has been found in the search for a chef who went missing in Surrey.
Surrey Police said the body was found by a member of the public in Bottoms Wood, Dormansland.
Officers said the body had yet to be formally identified but was believed to be that of 34-year-old David Pickett.
Mr Pickett was reported missing after he failed to turn up for work on Monday. A police spokeswoman said Mr Pickett's family were told about the discovery of the body.
She said the death was being treated as unexplained at this stage, but there was nothing to suggest any third party involvement.
Mr Pickett lived and worked at Greathed Manor Nursing Home in Ford Manor Road, Dormansland, and was last seen on Sunday 28 July.
The next day his dog was found alone and off the lead in a lane near the Kent/Sussex border.
