Second arrest follows Beare Green fatal crash

A second person has been arrested following the death of a cyclist in a hit-and-run crash in Surrey.

Robert Worrall, 30, from Beare Green, died at the scene on the A24 near the Esso Petrol Station in the village at 01:25 GMT on 9 November.

A man aged 50 from the Dorking area has been arrested on suspicion of failing to stop at the scene of an accident.

He has been bailed until 13 January, 2015. A 47-year-old woman from Horley is on bail until 9 December.

She was arrested on suspicion of drink driving and failing to stop at the scene of an accident.

Mr Worrall had worked for 10 years as a gardener at Dorking grounds maintenance company Groundscapes.

His family said snowboarding was a huge passion of his and he enjoyed many holidays with friends in Austria and France.
