Three men arrested on suspicion of the attempted murder of a man who was shot through his front door in West Sussex have been released on bail.
The men, aged 24, 25 and 26, were arrested on Wednesday after the 29-year-old man was shot in Park Way, Crawley on Tuesday.
He suffered minor leg injuries after two shots were fired through the door.
Sussex Police said they were still questioning a 48-year-old man arrested at about 1700 BST on Friday.
The fourth arrest was made outside the county, a spokeswoman said.
'Dynamic inquiry'
Police said the victim had slammed the door on his attacker before the shots were fired.
Det Ch Insp Nick Sloane said: "I'm grateful to the community for their support of the investigation.
"This is a fast timed and dynamic inquiry in which we have gained considerable intelligence."
The force has confirmed the injured man was the victim of an arson attack on 5 July and it was investigating possible links.
In that incident, the victim's window was smashed and accelerant poured into the property, causing damage to the living room.
