Reward to help solve shop robbery in West Sussex

Detectives have offered a £500 reward for information leading to a conviction after an armed robbery at a shop in West Sussex.

Two men wearing balaclavas entered the Co-op in South Street, Tarring, armed with a gun and a canister of CS gas.

A male member of staff in his late 20s was punched in the face in the robbery at 2120 BST on 26 July.

The robbers took about £200 cash before leaving through the rear entrance into St Dunstan's Road.

Det Sgt Jason Turner said the reward would be made available for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible.
