Man arrested after Brighton rape

A 24-year-old man has been arrested in connection with an allegation of rape in Brighton.

Sussex Police said the man was held in custody and questioned by detectives before being bailed until 12 October as inquiries continue.

Police said the arrest followed information they received from a member of the public after a detectives issued a CCTV image on Thursday.

In the alleged incident, a woman in her 30s was raped in her home in the centre of the city on 5 June.
