Teenage girl named after Wisborough Green fatal crash

A teenager who died following a crash in Sussex has been named by police.

Kirsty Hicks, 16, of Stane Street, Slinfold, died at Queen's Hospital in Romford, Essex, on Friday, after the crash on 7 August.

She was one of three passengers in a car which collided with a lorry in Wisborough Green, West Sussex.

The car driver, a woman, 18, and a man, 18, remain in hospital in a critical condition. A boy, 16, is still in hospital in a serious condition.

The lorry driver, a 71-year-old man from Ashington, was unhurt, officers said.

The injured man and boy are both in London hospitals, while the woman was taken to the Hurstwood Park Neurological Centre in Haywards Heath.
