The jury in the trial of a man accused of murdering a Sussex restaurant waiter has been discharged.

The body of Ahmed Remon Hayder, 27, was found at a flat next to the Moon of India restaurant on Sutton Park Road, Seaford, on 1 February.

Shahadat Mollah Sohag, 21, of no fixed address, denies one count of murder and one of aggravated burglary.

Mr Sohag, who went on trial at Lewes Crown Court last month, will face a retrial next year.

Mr Hayder, known as Ray, worked at the Moon of India restaurant and had suffered severe head injuries
