Cannabis flats found at flooded Brighton flat

Hundreds of cannabis plants were discovered when firefighters were called out to a flooded building in Brighton.

Sussex Police said they were alerted after fire crews spotted electric cables and fertilizer at a flat in New England Road on Saturday at 0200 GMT.

When officers entered the property they discovered 300 cannabis plants.

The force said it was currently examining the flat and appealed for information.
