Burglars raid Brighton cancer charity shop

A charity shop in East Sussex has been burgled for the second time in three weeks, police have said.

The Cancer Research UK shop in Southwick Square, Brighton, was broken into overnight on Saturday. It was also targeted on 20 November.

Sussex Police said burglars had stolen more than £1,000 from the shop, as well as a laptop.

Pc Roisin Vafaee said: "This is all leads to less money to fund vital cancer research."
