Six arrested over spate of burglaries in East Sussex

Four men, one woman, and a 14-year-old boy have been arrested and questioned by police following an operation to recover stolen property in East Sussex.

They are suspected of being involved in burglaries at 28 houses in the county between 9 November and 6 December.

Ten addresses were searched in the Rother, Hastings, Wealden and Eastbourne areas.

Stolen goods recovered during the police operation included televisions, games consoles and jewellery.
