Boy questioned over man's death in Worthing

A boy has been arrested on suspicion of manslaughter following the death of a man in West Sussex.

Sussex Police were called to an address at Valencia Road, Worthing, on Wednesday evening where they found a 49-year-old man with head injuries.

Paramedics tried to resuscitate him but he died at the scene.

Officers said a 17-year-old boy was arrested at another address in Worthing at 0200 GMT. It is believed the suspect and dead man were known to each other.

Det Insp Phil Mays, of Sussex Police, said; "We are treating this as a suspicious death and making detailed inquiries to establish the exact circumstances in which the man died."
