Five arrested over window plunge in Brighton

Five people have been arrested after a man suffered serious head injuries apparently falling from a fourth storey window in Brighton.

Sussex Police said the three men and two women were being questioned in custody following the incident in Chadborn Close at 0300 GMT.

The 25-year-old man was taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital in a critical condition.

He has since been transferred to the Hurstwood Park Neurological Centre.

A force spokesman appealed for anyone who saw anything suspicious to contact police.
