Motorcyclist dies after M23 collision in Sussex

A 52-year-old motorcyclist has died following a collision involving five other vehicles on the M23 in Sussex.

The man from Peacehaven died at the scene of the crash, which happened on the northbound carriageway, near the Maidenbower interchange.

The drivers of the other vehicles, three cars and two vans, were unhurt.

The motorway was closed in both directions for several hours following the collision at about 0610 GMT on Saturday.
