Postcards of Prince William and Kate Middleton are being exported round the world from an East Sussex company.

Judges Postcards in St Leonards has sold tens of thousands of postcards in the USA, Canada, Europe and Australia.

The cards are among a range of 50 unofficial royal wedding souvenirs ranging from mugs, spoons and posters to snow domes made by the company.

"Something like a mug is a traditional favourite," said boss Graeme Walford.

"These are produced in house and we are able to adapt artwork fairly quickly.

"As the wedding date was announced, we transferred production from an engagement mug into a wedding mug."

With 23 days to go, about 30,000 mugs have been sold to tourist outlets and souvenir shops.

Staff at the 109-year-old firm will be at work on the day of the royal wedding on 29 April to produce postcards of the event while others are enjoying the bank holiday.

"We will be working with agency photographers and the abbey's own photographers to produce postcards during the afternoon, as the events unfold," said Mr Walford.

"We will be downloading images from the websites and postcards are going to be on sale the next day."
