Nathan Vaughan-Jones admits killing Sussex stepfather

A man has pleaded guilty to killing his stepfather in East Sussex on the grounds of diminished responsibility.

Nathan Vaughan-Jones, 34, admitted the manslaughter of Nigel Ross, at Hove Crown Court.

Mr Ross, 63, was declared dead at the scene after police were called to Mill Lane, South Chailey, on 29 March. He had suffered serious stab wounds.

Vaughan-Jones, who lived abroad but was staying in the property at the time, will be sentenced on March 19.
