Sussex man dies in three-car collision in Peasmarsh

A man died when the car he was travelling in collided with two other vehicles in an East Sussex village.

The 60-year-old was in the rear of a Ford Fiesta when it struck two other cars in Main Street, Peasmarsh, at 19:10 BST on Tuesday.

The front seat passenger, a 59-year-old woman from Battle, was airlifted to hospital with serious head injuries. She remains in a critical condition.

The 60-year-old driver, from St Leonards, suffered minor injuries.
