Leak leaves homes without water in East Sussex

Residents in parts of East Sussex are without water after a pipe burst.

South East Water has apologised for the inconvenience and said a team of engineers was working to repair the burst main.

A spokesman said it was not clear how many homes had been affected in Mark Cross, Rotherfield and Crowborough.

The company was one of seven firms in south and eastern England to impose water restrictions last week after two unusually dry winters.
