Man freed on bail after Bexhill cyclist lorry death

A man arrested after a cyclist was killed in a hit-and-run collision with a lorry has been released on bail.

The 41-year-old victim suffered fatal injuries on De La Warr Road in Bexhill, East Sussex, on Thursday.

Sussex Police said he was hit by an articulated lorry which was travelling in the same direction at 07:00 BST.

A 60-year-old man arrested on suspicion of causing death by careless or inconsiderate driving and failing to stop was bailed until 12 June.
