Sussex Police: Racist graffiti daubed over Bognor Regis

Racist graffiti has been scrawled across Bognor Regis in West Sussex, prompting a police investigation.

Sussex Police is investigating nine cases in which offensive slogans have been daubed in subways in Gordon Avenue, Hotham Park and Orchard Way.

Sgt Rachel Glenton, of Sussex Police, said: "This can cause considerable fear among members of the targeted community and residents."

She said the incidents were being treated as hate crimes.
