Boy arrested over Brighton car park attack

A 16-year-boy has been arrested over an attack in a Brighton car park which left a man with a fractured skull.

The 30-year-old victim was knocked unconscious in a car park off Oxford Street at about 22:35 BST on Monday.

Sussex Police said a teenager, who is from Brighton, had been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm and released on bail.

The man was treated at the Royal Sussex County Hospital following the attack. He has since been discharged.

Detectives believe he received a single punch to the head before falling to the ground and hitting his head.
