Taxi driver dies in Bognor Regis as car crashes into tree

A taxi driver has died after his car left the road and crashed into a tree in West Sussex.

The incident outside the Martlets pub in Aldwick Road, Bognor Regis, happened at 14:30 BST on Saturday.

The 57-year-old man died at the scene, after his vehicle left the roundabout at West Meads Drive, Sussex Police said.

No other vehicle was involved and witnesses have been asked to contact police.
