A motorcyclist who died in a crash with a car in Kent has been named as 56-year-old grandfather Brian Reddin.

Mr Reddin, from the Tonbridge area, died at the scene of the accident, where Princes Road meets the A282/M25 slip road in Dartford on 17 July.

His family said the father or two, who had four grandchildren, was an experienced motorcyclist of 30 years.

"He was a loving husband and doting father," they said. "This is a devastating loss."

The accident involved a white Peugeot car. The family thanked witnesses who had come forward in response to a police appeal for information.

But they appealed to any who had not yet done so to speak to officers.

"We still need your help in finding out exactly what happened to our Brian and to give us a bit of closure," they said.
