Tribute to Bognor Regis crash taxi driver Mark Pittwood

Tributes have been paid to a taxi driver who was killed when his car left a roundabout and crashed into a tree in West Sussex.

Mark Pittwood, 57, died in the crash at the end of West Mead Drive, Bognor Regis, at about 14:30 BST on Saturday.

In a statement his family said Mr Pittwood was "a good son and father who could fill a room with laughter".

Post-mortem tests showed the cause of death was multiple crash injuries. Police have appealed for witnesses.

The family statement continued: "Tragically he leaves behind his mother and father along with two sons and two grandchildren.

"He has now joined his beloved wife Launa who sadly passed away in January this year.

"He will be sadly missed by all who knew him."
