Horsham cannabis factory: Two quizzed
Two people have been arrested after police raided a suspected cannabis factory in West Sussex.
Officers executed a search warrant at a cottage and barn in Bar Lane, Horsham, and seized 160 cannabis plants in varying stages of growth.
They estimated the haul had a potential yield of about £180,000 per year.
A woman, aged 36, and a man, 35, were arrested on suspicion of production of cannabis, theft, money laundering, and abstraction of electricity.
They were later released on bail until 9 February pending police inquiries.
Officers also seized vehicles including a car, a horse box and four motorcycles, as well as laptops, £1,800 in cash, and correspondence.
Insp Clare McKnight said the the operation followed information received from the public.
