A 76-year-old woman accused of throwing rubbish into a neighbour's garden over a three-year period has been given a restraining order.

Annunziata Crook, of Millars Court, Pagham, West Sussex, pleaded guilty to a charge of harassment at Worthing Magistrates' Court on Wednesday.

A criminal damage charge was dismissed as no evidence was offered.

She was given a 12-month restraining order banning her from contacting her neighbour or littering the property.

A harassment charge against her husband Peter Crook, 77, also of Millars Court, was dismissed during an earlier hearing.
