Arrest after cyclist killed in crash in Horsham

A cyclist died when they were struck by a car in Horsham in West Sussex.

The crash happened just before 11:00 GMT in Kerves Lane near to Bournehill Lodge, Sussex Police said.

The air ambulance was called but the cyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. Roads in the area were closed temporarily, police said.

A driver has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving. An appeal for witnesses has been made by police.
