Dog walker Stephen Crouch died in Midhurst car crash

A dog walker who was killed when he was struck by a car near Midhurst in West Sussex has been named by police.

Stephen Crouch, 60, of Well Lane, Midhurst, was hit by a Peugeot 307 as he walked his two dogs at the junction of the A286 and Oaklands Lane.

A 25-year-old man, who was arrested on suspicion of causing death by careless driving following the crash on Saturday, has been bailed.

The man and his passenger, a 24-year-old woman, were unhurt.
