Three more men arrested over Brighton shooting

Three more men have been arrested in Brighton over a shooting in the city.

A 39-year-old man was shot through the front door of his home in Elmore Road on 27 January and suffered non life-threatening injuries.

The three men, aged 24, 45 and 33, were held on suspicion of conspiracy to murder, attempted murder, causing grievous bodily harm, criminal damage and theft, Sussex Police said.

They were all released on bail. Two other men are on bail over the attack.

A 31-year-old man from Hove arrested on 27 January on suspicion of attempted murder and a 24-year-old man from Brighton was detained on suspicion of conspiracy to murder are on bail until 8 April.

A £5,000 reward has been offered by the force for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible.
